What You Pass On
We borrow from the wisdom and strength of the women who came before.
The window from conception through the first three years is the most chemically sensitive a human body will ever be. Skin is more permeable. Organs are still fully forming. The gut microbiome is seeded for life. Every choice made in this season carries forward in ways we are only beginning to fully understand.
The snacks. The mattress a baby sleeps on. The diaper worn around the clock for years. The lotion applied at every bath. None of these feel significant in isolation. Together they build a foundation of safety for a body that has not yet learned to ask for it.
The women who came before us knew something we are only now finding language for. They grew food in richer soil. They made things by hand. They kept their homes simple and their ingredients fewer. The grandmother’s garden was not a wellness trend. It was just life, lived close to the earth. We are not so much discovering something new as we are returning to something old. With the added gift of research that confirms what instinct always knew. That simpler is safer. That what is closest to nature is closest to what the body recognizes.
This category is our way of honoring both. The elder wisdom and the modern evidence. For the smallest, most vulnerable bodies among us.
Your little one’s body will carry them through the whole journey of life. How it begins matters.
